UFC fans can temper their expectations slightly as the promotion returns to the APEX Facility this weekend for UFC Fight Night: Lemos vs. Jandiroba. Despite the empty venue, the card is geared to deliver on all fronts, with plenty of exciting matchups.
UFC Fighter’s Eyebrow Hangs Off in Gruelling Denver Defeat
Let’s look at the top three fights on the card in terms of quality and entertainment value:
UFC Fight Night: Lemos vs. Jandiroba Top 3 Fights
Hyder Amil vs. Jeong Yeong Lee
Possessing one of the more exciting UFC debuts in recent memory, California’s Hyder Amil (9-0-0) is one to watch. ‘The Hurricane’ lives up to his moniker, walking into the fire and looking to finish his opponent at every opportunity. Amil relies a lot on his chin to see him through these firefights, and the one to test it on July 20 is ‘The Korean Tiger’ Jeong Yeong Lee (11-1-0).
Lee hails from the Road to UFC tournament, where he picked up two straight first-round finishes. He mixes it well, with four knockout wins and three submissions in his 11 professional victories, five of which are in the first round.
Keep your eyes peeled for this matchup, which will serve as the night’s featured prelim.
Brad Tavares vs. Jun Yong Park
Two dynamite middleweights are looking to return to the win column in the night’s co-main event. Jun Yong Park has been a dark horse in the middleweight division since late 2019. Losses to Gregory Rodrigues and André Muniz have prevented him from tackling the top of the division.
Park uses smothering control and damage-over-position style grappling to destroy his opponents systematically. He’ll get to fight for a ranking again if he defeats perennial middleweight contender Brad Tavares.

Tavares has fought the who’s-who of middleweight dating back to 2010. He’s on the tail end of his career but has much to give with wins over Chris Weidman and Omari Akhmedov. Tavares has struggled with big punchers in his division, so it should be a welcome break against Park.
Steve Garcia vs. Seung Woo Choi
The UFC on ESPN 60 main card gets a certified banger as boxer-striker Steve Garcia welcomes Seung Woo Choi back to the Octagon. Garcia is known for his well-roundedness and heavy hands; his finishing ability is remarkable, with 80 percent of his 15 victories coming from KO/TKO. Fans might remember him handing Chase Hooper his first TKO loss in 2022.
Choi is another kill-or-be-killed fighter happy to stand and trade with the best of them. He returned to winning form in late 2023 after a skid of three losses, one of which included a rare double-knockdown against Michael Trizano.
This will be the one if no other fights deliver on July 20.
