I think the prediction for this fight is relatively straight forward. Nzechukwu has a massive 5 inch height advantage and god knows how much reach advantage. If you watch Nicolae fight, he often drops his hands, plodding forward without much defence. Nicolae can credit his granite chin for carrying him so far in the UFC, seriously, go and watch some of the bombs he absorbed from Aleksa Camur.
Nzechukwu is also a plodding fighter, but he has bricks for hands. Kennedy likes to pump out his jab and fight from a distance before closing in on an opponent against the fence. He’s had great success in the UFC so far with his power and perseverance. He may get beat up from time to time, but he has an uncanny ability to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
By all rights, Nzechukwu should be able to bully Nicolae on the feet in this fight. His length and power should cause trouble for the Romanian, who struggles to keep his hands to his face in the best of times.
